The Ontario Seminar is a simple, collective weekend away from daily routines. It is designed for meditation, connection, learning, music, nature walks, and time with the Ontario collective.

This 2026 version keeps the familiar Camp Kawartha format while leaving room for the program team to finalize facilitators, sessions, meals, and registration links.

Venue

Camp Kawartha

Accommodation

Participants stay in rustic shared cabins. Cabins are heated, and washrooms with private showers are located near the main hall.

Please bring your own sleeping bag, pillow, towel, and bedding.

Meals

Meals are prepared by the Camp Kawartha kitchen team with options for dietary needs noted during registration.

Please do not bring nuts. The facility is nut-free.

Good to know

Does the venue have Wi-Fi?

Wi-Fi is available in the main hall.

Is the tap water OK to drink?

Yes, the tap water is drinkable.

Do the cabins have heating?

Yes, cabins are heated.

Do the cabins have washrooms?

Cabins do not have private washrooms. Bathrooms and showers are located near the main hall.

I do not have a car. How can I get there?

Add the 2026 car pool form here once it is available, or contact the planning team for ride sharing help.

What should I pack?
  • Sleeping bag, pillow, towel, and warm clothes
  • Blanket, chair, or small rug for sitting
  • Toiletries and flashlight
  • Puja attire, songbooks, and mantra books
  • Flowers and prasad for the altar, with no nuts please
  • Footsoak bucket, towel, and jar
Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?

Dietary needs can be collected during registration and shared with the camp kitchen team for meal planning.
